Line Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food handling, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food storage practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques.
• Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the culinary field.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Familiarity with dietary aide practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A passion for food service and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
