Are you looking for a fast-paced and challenging position that will provide you with extremely valuable software and system engineering experience, extensive variety, and diverse assignments in a team environment in the Information Technology Branch? The Employment Development Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in Application Development & Support Section. The Developer in the eGov Administration Development Group will be responsible for full stack software development, problem solving, implementing new software features, supporting legacy applications, testing and Maintenance and Operations activities.

The successful candidate has demonstrated software development experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines, and can work independently and excel in a team environment.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change as business needs arise. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office on their assigned in-office days. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.

Position is located at EDD's newly built headquarters located at 1416 9th street, Sacramento, California.
