Security Bouncer

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Bouncer to maintain a safe and secure environment at our venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring guest behavior, enforcing rules, and ensuring the safety of all patrons and staff. This role requires a strong presence, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security is highly valued, along with certifications in first aid and CPR. The Security Bouncer will play a crucial role in preventing loss prevention issues and managing surveillance systems to uphold the integrity of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor guest activity through CCTV surveillance and on-site observation to identify potential security threats.
• Enforce venue policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally, de-escalating disputes when possible.
• Conduct thorough searches of guests and staff as needed to prevent unauthorized items from entering the premises.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, by administering first aid or CPR if certified.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents requiring external intervention.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security activities.
• Control access points and manage crowd flow during peak hours or special events.
• Conduct loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are highly desirable.
• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems.
• Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
• Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and manage crowd control tasks effectively.
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for all positions. Pay: $ $25.72 per hour
