ATC Automation is seeking a motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Northeast Territory. This role is focused on expanding ATC's presence within the life sciences market-including pharmaceutical, diagnostics, medical device, and medical consumables sectors-while also developing opportunities within the transportation and consumer products industries. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship-builder with industry expertise and a passion for delivering innovative, custom automation solutions that enable scientific advancement and manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize new business opportunities within key life sciences segments such as biotechnology, diagnostics, drug delivery, and medical devices
  • Lead new market entry and expansion efforts across transportation and consumer products sectors
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Growth

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, conferences, referrals, and inbound opportunities
  • Client Engagement

  • Establish and grow relationships with manufacturing engineers, process engineers, procurement teams, and leadership stakeholders within target accounts
  • Proposal Development

  • Develop customized proposals and presentations that address customer-specific technical, regulatory, and operational requirements
  • Contract Negotiation

  • Lead proposal reviews, negotiate commercial terms, and close opportunities that align with long-term customer success and company goals
  • Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and solution development
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, applications engineering, and operations teams to deliver timely, high-quality customer solutions
  • Reporting & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline updates, forecasts, and key
