Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The practice is independently owned and operated by nurse practitioners and sees both primary and acute care patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across various specialties, including acute and chronic care. This role involves providing comprehensive patient assessments, managing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Dr Chrono, and eClinicalWorks is essential. The Nurse Practitioner will also be responsible for performing office based procedures like suturing, IV infusion, I&D, skin biopsies, among others. Hours are M-Th 7a-4p. Friday 7a-noon. No call.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans across a variety of specialties such as primary care and urgent care
  • Manage acute pain and chronic conditions utilizing advanced knowledge of pain management techniques
  • Utilize EMR/EHR systems to document patient encounters accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Provide patient education on health coaching, medication administration, nutrition, and disease prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with specialists
  • Qualifications
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in the state of employment
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation methods
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams across outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
