Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing various systems, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain property aesthetics.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using logic controllers and schematics.
• Operate tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to tenant requests and inquiries.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
• Familiarity with residential painting techniques is preferred.
• Proficient in reading schematics and understanding logic controllers.
• Ability to operate an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
