Nursing Administration Coordinator

$31.85/hour

The Nursing Administration Coordinator is responsible for scheduling nursing staff for substance use disorder (SUD) and Behavioral Health (BHH) programs. This role ensures adequate coverage for all shifts, maintains scheduling systems, and provides support to nursing teams. The Nursing Administration Coordinator will also fill in shifts as needed to maintain continuity of care.

Section 3: Major Responsibilities

DIRECT DUTIES:

  • Develop and maintain nursing schedules for SUD and BHH programs to ensure adequate coverage
  • Coordinate with program leadership to address staffing needs and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Monitor attendance and manage last-minute changes or call-offs
  • Fill in nursing shifts as needed to maintain continuity of care
  • Communicate schedule updates promptly to nursing staff and supervisors
  • Maintain accurate records of schedules and staffing assignments
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and state regulations related to staffing and scheduling

Section 6: Job Qualifications and Competencies

Job Qualifications.

  • Active LPN license in Pennsylvania
  • Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in Behavioral Health or Substance Use Disorder programs
  • Experience with staff scheduling and workforce coordination
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and fill shifts when necessary
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and Electronic Health Records
  • Team-oriented with problem-solving skills
