Overview
The Clinical Director will provide clinical leadership and oversight across three outpatient behavioral health clinic locations. This role is responsible for maintaining clinical excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting provider performance, and standardizing clinical workflows across all sites. The Clinical Director serves as the senior clinical authority and works closely with executive leadership and operations staff to ensure high-quality, ethical, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Multi-Site Clinical Oversight
- Provide strategic and hands-on clinical leadership across three clinic locations
Clinical Quality & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
- Oversee documentation auditing, treatment planning, and quality assurance processes
- Participate in corrective action planning and regulatory inspections
- Monitor HIPAA compliance and patient safety practices
Provider Leadership & Development
- Supervise and support therapists, supervisors, and clinical staff
- Oversee onboarding, training, and mentorship of clinical personnel
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide clinical coaching
- Promote accountability, professionalism, and ethical care standards
Program Development & Outcomes
- Review clinical outcomes and performance metrics
- Implement service enhancements and evidence-based practices
- Recommend improvements for workflow efficiency and patient engagement
- Support program expansion and clinical growth initiatives
Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as clinical liaison between providers, medical staff, operations, and executive leadership
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to organizational planning
- Prepare reports related to clinical performance, staffing, and compliance
Risk Management & Crisis Oversight
- Provide guidance on high-risk cases and clinical escalations
- Support staff in crisis management and clinical decision-making
- Ensure appropriate supervision and liability reduction strategies
- Standardize clinical workflows, documentation practices, and treatment protocols
- Conduct regular site visits, clinical audits, and quality reviews
- Address clinical concerns and escalate risk when necessary
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related mental-health field
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience overseeing multi-site or program-level clinical operations
- Strong understanding of outpatient behavioral health regulations
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Experience
- Proven experience in healthcare management or medical leadership roles within multi-site healthcare organizations.
- Strong background in medical management practices, including quality assurance and patient safety protocols.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards such as JCAHO is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to collaborate across departments and with external partners.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $120,000.00 per year
