Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team at Rayray's . The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional experience. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized area.

Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance the experience and increase sales.
• Assist with product demonstrations to educate customers about new items or promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, including stocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Utilize effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction.
• Experience in merchandising and stocking is a plus.
• Supervising experience is advantageous for potential growth within the company.
