Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves assessing patients, developing tailored treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
- Implement behavioral interventions and monitor progress through data collection.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in behavioral therapy.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and data collection methods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient care is essential.
