Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000/yr

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Engineer for a contract-based, on-site role in Johns Creek, a national logistics enterprise:

· Serve as technical owner and lead engineer for the ServiceNow platform

· Design, develop, and enhance:

o RITMs

o Service Catalog & Catalog Requests

o Incident, Problem, Change

o CMDB (modeling, relationships, data quality)

o Virtual Agent / Bot workflows

· Develop and maintain custom workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, and integrations

· Support and enhance ServiceNow integrations, including:

o ClickUp (project linkage)

o Enterprise systems (future roadmap integrations)

· Guide platform evolution toward automation-first and AI-ready architecture

· Partner with Infrastructure, Service Desk, Security, and Application teams to align ServiceNow with operational needs

· Enforce platform governance, best practices, and technical standards

· Mentor administrators and junior developers

· Own platform upgrades, testing, and release management

· Act as a trusted technical advisor to leadership on ServiceNow capabilities and roadmap

Qualifications

  • · 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow expertise in architecture, configuration, and customization at enterprise scale.
  • Proficiency in related technologies and tools, such as scripting (JavaScript, Glide), APIs, and integration methods.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and address business needs effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic working environment.
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is highly desirable.
