Our facility is currently seeking an Activities Assistant with a cheerful disposition and creative side to join our team. The Activities Assistant responsibilities are to contribute in the physical, spiritual and mental rejuvenation of the elderly participants in our community. The Activities Assistant will assist the Activities Director in administering, planning, conducting and implementing recreational programs. Activity Assistant will also assist Care Managers in providing services of ADL as needed.

Responsibilities· Planning and implementing Resident and facility activities,· Organize weekly off-site tours,· Maintain MDS, Care Plan and Assessment for Activities,· Generate monthly calendar of events each month,· Manage Activity staff and volunteer,· Staff development coordinator, oversee Residents Council and Resident outings.· Book Entertainment· Plan parties and special events· Plan welcoming events for new Residents· Schedule Pet Therapy· Oversee weekly Arts & Crafts

- 1 YEAR OF ASSISTED LIVING OR SIMILAR EXPERIENCE TO QUALIFY.
