Driver Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Direct point of contact for all communications with Drivers
• Assist Driver Supervisor with the daily operations of EcoShield Waste Drivers
• Manage daily terminal activities including prioritizing mechanics, managing equipment in and out of the yard, and daily equipment maintenance schedules
• Document and report maintenance related issues for Drivers
• Address driver issues with management as necessary
• Assist drivers with company policy requirements
• Maintain attendance and time off records
• Assist drivers with safety compliance requirements
• Manage terminal inventory, supplies, invoices and expense control

Qualifications/Skills:

• Able to report to office daily in Okeechobee, FL
• Bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish is preferable
• Professional attitude
• Computer competent, previous experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
• Strong verbal/written communications
• Highly motivated, flexible, and great attitude
• Organizational skills for planning, decision-making and executing with excellence
• Skilled in developing standards and process improvement
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and work within a team structure
• Ability to learn and build upon industry specific information for future professional growth
• Able to work independently
