Crew Member

Overview

We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Crew Member to join us at the Matrix Bar and Grill team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to help create an excellent guest experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and drink orders
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction
• Assist customers with menu questions and make recommendations when needed
• Support bartenders and kitchen staff by running food, clearing tables, and restocking supplies
• Help maintain a clean, organized dining area, including tables, floors, and service stations
• Handle takeout orders and packaging with care and accuracy
• Restock condiments, utensils, napkins, and other front-of-house essentials
• Assist with light cleaning tasks such as wiping surfaces and resetting tables
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or food service is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
• Bassett & Food Handler Certification required
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Willingness to learn and adapt to bar and grill operations
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience with handheld Toast POS systems
• Familiarity with food running or serving
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices
