Shipping and Receiving Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Oversee inventory management activities, including inventory control, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate warehouse distribution activities to optimize materials handling, heavy lifting procedures, and mechanical equipment usage like forklifts.
• Implement process improvements to streamline logistics workflows, reduce errors, and enhance overall warehouse productivity.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for seamless transportation and distribution services.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and generate reports for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution processes, and materials handling techniques is a plus.
• Drivers License and a willing to learn to drive a forklift.
• Excellent time management skills and be detail oriented.
• Experience working in e-commerce fulfillment or 3PL logistics environments is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
