At Chick-fil-A, we value good food We know the success of our restaurant begins with the quality of our that means we need culinary professionals to join our team and help take us to the next level in food excellence. We are looking for experienced line cooks with a passion for food preparation.
Compensation: $21/hr with open scheduling availability. We also offer a $.50 raise for every 1,000 hours worked and additional increases with added responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
Primary Line Cook duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Set-up cook stations and stock them with the necessary prep supplies.
- Prep food on the line, as needed, by cutting, mixing, chopping, and making sauces.
- Cook items on the line by grilling, frying, chopping, and baking to quality guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards (like creating and following a restaurant cleaning checklist) that comply with state and local food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Handle and store food safely and properly.
- Ability to work on Saturday, stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines.
- Maintain a clean work station.
- Maintain a positive working relationship and treat all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
