Leasing Manager

Job Mission: To manage the leasing department and the entire leasing process for our homes, with a primary emphasis on activities to get our homes rented quickly to qualified residents and at market rent.

How to Accomplish the Mission:

• Positioning our homes on-line with excellent marketing pictures and following our listing requirements
• Coordinate with Field Team members to needed info, pictures, updates or special requests in order to keep applicants and owners informed
• Management of the entire process from the day the home become vacant to the day of the lease signing
• Analyzing current market rents to price our homes accordingly along with making adjustments as necessary to ensure quick occupancy
• The leasing department respond promptly to inquiries from prospective tenants in an effort to have qualified residents apply
• Routine conversations to Project Managers and Asset Managers concerning status updates
• Coordinate and conduct lease signings, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and regulations throughout the leasing process.
• Collaborate with the project managers to ensure all necessary repairs and maintenance tasks are completed before move-in.
• Ask applicants for 5-star reviews on move-in day
• Correctly enter lease auto-charges and beginning charges/payments from the lease closing on the new resident's ledger in our management software
• Ensure all legal documents are accurate and prepared at least 24 hours in advance of scheduled lease closing

Requirements to Apply

• Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines as time is the essence to renting out homes
• Success motivated
• Prior work history requiring attention to detail
• Self-motivated as you are the Manager
• Leasing experience with knowledge of the single family market, rental laws and fair housing practices
• Enjoy working with people as you are the first interaction prospective residents have with the company
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $65,000.00 per year
