Role: Senior Principal Systems Engineer

Client: Defense-Aerospace

Pay Rate: up to $112/hr (W2, non-benefited)

Length: 1-year contract

Location: Aurora, CO

Clearance: Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Polygraph after start.

Description:

• Provide technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases
• Decompose requirements, define system interfaces and help determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team
• Support Architecture, Design, Integration and Test of the System to ensure the system is verified and validated prior to release into Operations
• Lead a mixed team of Raytheon employees, subcontractors, and leased labor in support of all phases of Systems Engineering software development.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a lead Systems Engineer in a software development environment.

• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, JIRA)
• Experience with Systems Architecture
• Experience with development Linux Operation system
• Experience with Agile development methodology
• Experience in Cyber Security
• Experience with Containerization usage in DevOps
• Cloud data storage environment
• Experience with automated Space Payload Mission Management and Planning
• Experience with Python scripting
• Experience in a large software lifecycle development

Required Education and Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
