Concrete Carpenter

Rambo Contracting is seeking concrete carpenters. Carpenters must have a minimum of 3 years of experience building cast-in-place concrete retaining walls, concrete wingwalls, concrete junction boxes, and other concrete structures that involve vertical formwork.

Rambo Contracting, Inc. has multiple jobsites in Dallas, Fort Worth, and surrounding cities. Employees are assigned to a jobsite by their supervisors.

Position/Location: Carpenter / Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex

Applicant must be able to:

• Work safely per training and supervisor instruction
• Report to work each workday using their own means of reliable transportation
• Perform manual labor
• Tie/Install Reinforcing
• Place and Finish Concrete
• Place Forms
• Operate tools including, but not limited to; pneumatic hammers, drills, and tampers
• Understand and act upon written and verbal instructions

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory

Physical Requirements:

• Engaging in physical activities that require significant use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
• Work long shifts
• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Must have good hand-eye coordination
• Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety work boots
• Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
