Position Purpose
Under the direction of the Manager of Supply & Logistics, the Inventory Coordinator will support the Supply Chain Dept. by ensuring inventory accuracy and sufficient product availability for the storeroom. Provides training and support for distribution/receiving staff.
What you will do
Maintain Storeroom Inventory; Managing Stock-outs, backorder and product changes / conversions
Advise Manager of inventory issues; stock-outs, backorders, over/short shipments and communicate to the proper distributors and purchasing teams
Review replenishment daily. Ensure requested quantities are accurate and follows up on outstanding orders as appropriate
Manage the orders of gas through our current contracted vendor
Communicate any adjustments (adds, deletions, increases or returns) to the Manager prior to changes
Review, log & remove recalled / expired products in the storeroom and adjust inventory accordingly
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years of storeroom or inventory control experience desirable
Knowledge of computer operation is required, along with strong mathematical and analytical skills
