Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of vehicles, including GM models and diesel engines, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engines.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, and system inspections.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools efficiently.
- Repair or replace automotive electrical systems and ADAS components to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately diagnose issues.
- Perform wheel alignments and other precision services to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed using auto estimating software.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably with dealership experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with ADAS technology, schematics interpretation, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools.
- Service technician experience with GM vehicles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical knowledge.

Pay: $70, $100,000.00 per year
