Now Hiring: Full-Time Teacher (Flexible Across Infant, Toddler & Preschool)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Start Date: December 2025

Step One Childcare is a Large Family Daycare and looking for a full-time Teacher who is flexible and able to work in Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms as needed.
We are also looking for a Teacher who can work comfortably in our setting.

Position Summary

• Work with children in Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms depending on daily needs
• Help manage classrooms of 8–12 children
• Assist with all daily tasks, including diaper changes and supervision
• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment that meets state regulations
• Communicate professionally with children, families, and staff
• Be flexible and able to help wherever needed

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a childcare center or preschool
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Ability to work flexibly across all age groups (Infant/Toddler/Preschool)
• Reliable, positive, and energetic
• Must pass background checks and complete
• state training (90-Hour Core)is preferred
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and participate in children's activities
• Experience in a Large Family Daycare is preferred
• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred
• Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a plus
