About the Role:
RJR Maintenance Group is seeking a highly diligent and analytical Payroll Specialist to be a core contributor in our finance department. This role will be responsible for managing the payroll process for our collection of enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintaining the integrity of the payroll process on a weekly basis, ensure accuracy in the entire process and take ownership.
· Onboarding/off boarding of employees
· Manage and oversee deduction, union deductions, withholdings, etc.
· Assist with internal and external audits connected to payroll, providing documentation and analysis as required.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent. Candidates with commensurate experience – specifically 5 or more years of progressive payroll experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
· Advanced in using ADP and Microsoft Excel
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
· Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with multi-entity organizations or specialized industry accounting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior management and non-finance teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75, $90,000.00 per year
