Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee residential property operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of property management systems, legal regulations, and customer service principles. This role involves managing leasing activities, ensuring property maintenance, and maintaining positive relationships with tenants and vendors. The Property Manager will play a key role in ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and profitable.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of property, including leasing, renewals, and tenant relations
- Oversee property maintenance and facilities management to ensure safety and functionality
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff for repairs and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and other legal requirements
- Conduct tenant screening, lease negotiations, and contract management
- Handle conflict management issues effectively while maintaining professional relationships
- Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, contracts, and administrative records
- Provide excellent customer service through phone etiquette and personalized communication
- Assist with legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law and lease enforcement
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles
- Familiarity with Google Drive, Google Docs, California Apartment Association Website, Forms, and classes.
- Background in legal administrative processes related to leases and contracts
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution professionally
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices
- Office experience including data entry, filing, and administrative support functions
- Skills in negotiation, upselling amenities or services, and contract management are highly desirable
- Prior experience in landlord-tenant law or legal administrative work is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
