Overview

If you're detail-oriented and enjoy uncovering issues before they reach users, this internship provides hands-on experience validating next-generation robotics and AI systems. As a Quality Assurance Intern, you'll help test, evaluate, and document the performance of FloLabs' humanoid robot and supporting software, ensuring reliability, safety, and consistency across complex hardware–software interactions.

You'll collaborate with engineers, roboticists, and product teams as you execute structured tests, report findings, refine QA processes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy systematic problem-solving and want practical experience in testing advanced automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, integration, and regression tests across robotic subsystems and supporting software components.
  • Document test findings, maintain version-controlled records, and prepare summary reports for engineering teams.
  • Identify and analyze defects, assisting with troubleshooting and clearly communicating issues for resolution.
  • Support the development of QA processes, contributing to test plans, checklists, and quality metrics.
  • Verify corrective actions, collaborating with engineers to confirm that issues are resolved and systems behave as expected.
  • Explore AI-driven QA tools, evaluating methods to enhance automation, coverage, and testing efficiency.
  • Participate in review sessions, offering feedback and insights to improve validation workflows and product reliability.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking for systematic testing and defect identification.
  • Familiarity with QA concepts, bug tracking, or testing workflows is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages or testing frameworks is preferred.
  • Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to write clear, structured reports.
  • Comfortable collaborating across engineering and product teams.
  • Interest in robotics, automation, or AI-enhanced testing tools.

Why Join Us

  • Fully remote & flexible schedule. Work from anywhere, either full time (up to 40 hours per week) or part time (minimum 8–10 hours per week).
  • Hands-on, impactful work. Contribute to real testing and validation workflows that ensure the quality and reliability of humanoid robots and AI-driven systems.
  • Career-advancing experience. Build practical skills in QA engineering, test documentation, troubleshooting, and automation-assisted validation.
  • Mentorship & learning. Work closely with roboticists, engineers, and QA specialists who support your growth in testing and reliability engineering.
  • Growth pathways. Eligibility for our Earn & Learn program after successful completion of the internship
