Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Sales Initiatives
: Lead the sales team in managing high-value accounts and supporting complex deals, crafting and executing sales strategies that drive growth across the region. - Drive New Business
: Lead sales team within assigned region to strategically identify, engage, and close new opportunities with precision and confidence. - Lead & Inspire Sales Team
: Directly supervise, coach and mentor sales team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of excellence. - Leadership & Execution
: Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management and lead sales team activities, demonstrating strategic thinking and leadership. - Consultative Selling
: Perform and deliver expert guidance by understanding customer challenges and tailoring solutions that build long-term value and trust. - Leverage CRM Intelligence
: Utilize CRM tools to manage pipelines, track activities, and extract actionable market insights. - Surpass Performance Goals
: Consistently lead sales team to exceed team targets while contributing to organizational success and product innovation. - Market Insight & Forecasting
: Provide valuable input on sales strategy, market trends, and forecasting to inform business decisions. - Brand Representation
: Represent smaXtec at trade shows, industry events, and customer engagements with professionalism and enthusiasm. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5+ years of sales experience within the dairy industry or related sectors, with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
- Previous leadership experience, including a minimum of 3 years managing a sales team in similar industry or market.
- Expert knowledge of dairy farming operations and associated technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills complement your ability to analyze customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Highly refined communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders and overcome objections.
- High energy, self-motivation and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple initiatives effectively.
- Established relationships within the dairy industry and reputation as a trusted advisor.
- Proficient in use of CRM systems, Microsoft Suite and related software.
- Valid driver's license, willingness to travel nationally and internationally, with motivation for sales in the field.
- Position is based out of California, US. Candidates must live in California, or within reasonable commute distance.
