Nurs-Health & Community Systems - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for part-time, non-tenure stream faculty in the Department of Health and Community Systems in the area of psychiatric/mental health nursing.

Faculty promotion opportunities are available for all ranks. Qualifications for these appointment stream faculty positions include an earned doctorate (DNP or PhD) and eligibility for RN licensure in Pennsylvania or a compact state. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant Professor – A) An earned doctorate in nursing or a field related to the area of instruction within the School of Nursing is required; B) Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the indicated area of psychiatric/mental health nursing; C) Show evidence of or potential for excellence in clinical and/or classroom teaching and contributing to a learning environment that values evidence-based practice.
