QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET with a strong background in back-end testing, test automation, and scripting. In this role, you will analyze user stories, design test strategies, build automation, and ensure reliable delivery across UI, API, and data layers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC, participate in Agile ceremonies, and help drive timely defect resolution.

Qualifications

· years of enterprise-level experience in SDET, QA engineering, or automated testing roles.

· Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing best practices.

· Hands-on proficiency with Selenium, Karate Framework, Python scripting, SQL, and Unix/Linux.

· Experience testing in cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).

· Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Responsibilities

· Analyze requirements and user stories to design clear, comprehensive test cases.

· Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams to drive timely resolutions.

· Build and maintain automation frameworks and reusable scripts across UI, API, and integration layers, and execute functional/regression suites within CI/CD pipelines.

· Perform end-to-end data validation across databases and cloud platforms, including scripting for test data setup, environment configuration, and results comparison.
