CNC Machinist Setup/Operator

CNC Lathe & CNC Vertical Machinist/Operators – 2nd & Weekend Shifts

Start Date: Positions will begin after January 1, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe or CNC Vertical Milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints.
• Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize CNC editing skills to create and modify machining programs as needed.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all machining processes.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline production and meet project deadlines.

Experience/Skill Requirements :

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a metal manufacturing environment required.

(We offer strong on-the-job training and continued external education.)

• Ability to manage setups and perform minor program alterations at the machine.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documents.
• Knowledge of G & M code programming a plus.

Shift Options:

• 2nd Shift: (3/12's) Monday–Wednesday, 3 pm to 3 am
• Weekend Shift: (3/12's) Friday–Sunday, 5 am to 5 pm
• Training: All 2nd and Weekend Shift hires must train on 1st Shift for 4–6 weeks (4/10's) Monday–Thursday, 5 am to 3 pm .

Compensation & Perks:

• Pay Rate: $23.00/hr. to $34.00/hr., based on experience.
• Shift Premium: $1.50/hr. for 2nd Shift and Weekend Shifts
• Schedule Advantage: Work 36 hours, get paid for 40
• Overtime: Available depending on workload.
