Job Description

The Assembly & Shipping Coordinator supports the assembly and logistics operations at Din Space, a division of Industrial Networking Solutions. This role involves assembling fiber optic components, managing shipping logistics, preparing compliance documentation for domestic and international shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble faceplates, housings, brackets, and complete product units for various product lines.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure builds meet certification and quality standards.
• Package completed units and prepare shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and DOT/HAZMAT compliance forms.
• Ship orders using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS World Ship, and DHL platforms.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments; distribute and log accordingly.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock materials as needed.
• Pre-stage work orders and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Process inventory adjustments and RMAs using ERP software (e.g., NetSuite).
• Coordinate freight and warehouse logistics across locations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with internal departments such as service and purchasing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace aligned with company policies.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 0–1 year of experience in assembly, warehousing, or shipping/logistics

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite
• Use of shipping software (FedEx, UPS, DHL)
• Knowledge of shipping compliance requirements and documentation
• Basic computer literacy beyond required skills

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Perform repetitive tasks involving small parts
• Work is performed in a production and warehouse environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
