CNC machinist/operator

We are a machine shop located in Bedford MA that manufactures exotic metal parts for the aerospace, medical and electron ion microscope industries. We are looking for an individual who is motivated and willing to learn to join our team as a CNC Lathe machinist . Experience in machine shop practices are not required.

Not required but a plus:

* Experience in machine shop practices

* Able to follow process sheets/ work instructions

* Basic understanding of blueprint reading and tolerances

* Able to use and understand precision measuring tools (Micrometers, dial indicators, verniers etc..)

Required:

* High school diploma

* Must be able to speak/read English

* Must have great attention to detail

* Must be organized and be able to multitask

* Must have reliable transportation

* Must have basic understanding of Microsoft Word (Excel a plus)

* Occasionally lift up to 50lbs

Compensation will be negotiated depending on candidate's experience.

Our entry level positions (no experience) start at $24/hour

Hours 6:30am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday (plus overtime available when needed)

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 – 47.0 per week
