Description
The development team is responsible for building and maintaining software that supports our primary service delivery EMR systems, JBS and Ignite. As a member of the development team you are expected to support the team and the product through the product lifecycle:

  • Understand the product: Build understanding of our customers' needs and have a thorough understanding of the technology framework and processes that are in place.
  • Build the product: Ensure that builds of the software meet or exceed testing expectations and that test environments are built and continually ready for testing needs.
  • Test the product: Ensure that we deliver rock-solid software to our clients by engaging in TDD and automated developer testing.
  • Support the product: Support our internal and external clients on an as-needed basis to maintain software stability and assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans for Blazor, .NET MAUI, and backend .NET services.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using xUnit, NUnit, BUnit, and relevant mocking frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and UX teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure feature completeness.
  • Validate functional, regression, integration, performance, and security requirements across all platforms (Web, iOS, iPadOS, Android).
  • Work closely with DevSecOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure early detection of defects.
  • Create and manage test data, test environments, and validation tools in Azure-based environments.
  • Continuously expand test coverage and evolve testing strategies as the Blazor Hybrid and .NET MAUI platform grows.
  • Report, track, and validate resolution of defects using standardized processes and tooling.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to advocate for testability and quality considerations.
  • Support automated UI testing strategies for Blazor and MAUI using modern frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Appium, or MAUI test tools).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation roles.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies including regression, integration, unit, exploratory, and UAT.
  • Practical experience testing .NET applications, including Blazor server/hybrid apps and .NET MAUI mobile apps.
  • Hands-on experience with xUnit, NUnit, or similar .NET-focused testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with mocking, dependency injection, and writing isolated unit tests in C#.
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, RestClient libraries, etc.) and SQL-based data validation.
  • Working knowledge of Azure-based application environments and test data management.
  • Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes of defects in distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with engineering, product, and UX teams.
