Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a memorable experience in both casual and fine dining settings. Prior experience in food and beverage service, including nightclubs, banquet events, or catering, is highly valued. The bartender will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, adhering to food safety standards, and utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service to enhance their experience.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, utensils, and workstations in accordance with health standards.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during events such as banquets or nightclub functions.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to serve guests promptly during peak hours.
• Promote beverage sales through suggestive selling techniques.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet events, or catering environments is preferred.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
• Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the food industry, hospitality best practices, and brewing processes is advantageous.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate seamlessly with staff members. Pay: From $12.00 per hour
