Electrical Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate project cost estimates, supporting project planning, and ensuring competitive pricing. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing advanced estimating tools and techniques to deliver precise bids that align with company standards and client expectations. The Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to facilitate successful project execution from the bidding phase onward.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
• Utilize estimating software such as AccubidBid and Bluebeam to develop accurate cost models.
• Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs and pricing for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and negotiate terms when necessary.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules to ensure alignment with client requirements and company goals.
• Review project scopes and identify potential risks or areas requiring clarification.
• Support project management teams during bid presentations and contract negotiations.
• Maintain organized records of all estimating data for future reference and audits.

Skills

• Experience and Proficiency with construction estimating software such as AccuBid.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing with vendors and subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent project management capabilities to coordinate multiple estimates simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze complex drawings, specifications, and contractual documents accurately.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners. This role is integral to our project's success, requiring a proactive approach combined with technical expertise in construction estimating. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
