Software Systems Development Senior Manager.
As the Software Systems Development Senior Manager, you will be the driving force behind the strategic evolution and expansion of our software products related to Blentech equipment. You will lead development efforts, manage the software team, and oversee the commercial success of our subscription-based products. This is a strategic role reporting directly to the CEO/CRO.

Essential Functions

  • Direct the development of new software capabilities in alignment with the Development Road Map and Blentech's strategic plan. You will monitor market trends, recommend technology improvements, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to the software team, resolving complex issues from sales through service. You will manage and expand our network of external software and integration suppliers.
  • Oversee the commercial strategy and pricing for the AutoChef and ARTIS platforms. This includes securing both paying and strategic non-paying customers for ARTIS and ensuring high-quality advisory support that drives future equipment sales.
  • Ensure codebase protection and rigorous adherence to Policy Management.

What You'll Bring: Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or a related field (Master of Science (MS) Preferred)
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Technical Expertise (Mandatory):

  • Ignition certification and plant automation experience

  • PLC programming and SCADA experience
  • Familiarity with software security and networking principles

Must be a strategic thinker capable of helping the Executive Team understand the technical potential of our technological base. Excellent customer service skills and effective communication (verbal and written) are essential.

The Environment

  • You will be a key collaborator, working with Sales, Service, and Engineering teams to close business.
  • This is a truly hands-on role where you will work in an office, and factory environment, including time at a desk and on the manufacturing floor.
  • Domestic and International travel is necessary to support customer initiatives. Occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required.

What We Offer
Full Time: 40+ hours per week

We offer 100% company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for the employee, a 401(k) with match. The starting PTO accrual is 5.66 hours of PTO earned every pay period.

Pay Range DOE: $180,800 – $202,300

Drive significant revenue and innovation through the expansion of our software product portfolio.

Collaborative Environment:
Work closely with the CEO/CRO and various departments (Applications, Service, Sales).

This is an onsite position. You must be within driving distance of the office.
