Accountant

What You'll Be Doing:

Learn and assist in administering full-cycle accounts payable from invoice entry to payment processing

Help prepare bank payments and understand treasury operations

Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and account schedules, gaining practical insight into financial reporting

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes while learning how deadlines are managed in a corporate environment

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, with guidance from senior team members

Assist with audit preparation, reviewing financial transactions and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance

Learn and apply company financial policies and relevant regulations in day-to-day work

Maintain confidentiality of financial data and participate in secure database management

Take on additional accounting-related duties as you expand your skills

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress)

1 to 3 years of accounting experience (including internships or volunteer work)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to accounting software is an asset
