Overview of the Role:

Saputo is seeking a Production Supervisor for an existing opportunity within our organization. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is responsible for leading our production employees and overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure objectives are met for quality, safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the processing and packaging of our products. Flexibility to adjust and change shifts based on operational and business requirements is essential.

How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Lead and supervise production employees, providing direction, coaching, performance feedback, and training.

  • Ensure safe, efficient, and effective use of workforce, equipment, and materials.

  • Schedule personnel and equipment to meet production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.

  • Use operational data to monitor performance trends, communicate results, and implement corrective actions.

  • Prepare clear written communications, including procedures, notices, and progress reports for leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with company and government standards for quality, sanitation, environmental practices, and workplace safety.

  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Technical Services to support product quality, reduce downtime, and resolve issues.

  • Manage personnel-related activities including onboarding, training, attendance, and labour planning.

  • Administer and develop training programs, including new hire orientation, on‑the‑job training, and site‑required technical training.

  • Maintain the Training Matrix; coordinate learning plans, online and in‑person sessions, and ensure timely completion of mandatory training.

  • Build positive working relationships, support employee engagement activities, and perform additional duties as required.

  • Other duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of computer platforms (Microsoft Office, Alchemy, Workforce etc.).

  • 3-5 years in a Manufacturing environment

  • Previous experience in a leadership role an asset

  • Proven ability to speak in front of an audience and present information in a clear manner

  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated analytical and organizational skills

  • Must be self-motivated, results oriented and possess high degree of initiative, and work well with minimal supervision

  • Proven leadership skills and strong team orientation

  • Flexibility to work shifts outside regular scheduled shift

Salary: $78,170 to $102,600

Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training
