Journeyman Plumber

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing systems, including construction plumbing and remodeling, and will be adept at using both hand and power tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics, ensuring that all plumbing installations and repairs are performed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Conduct field service work, providing high-quality service to clients.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
• Weld pipes and fittings as necessary for specific installations.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumber
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with construction plumbing practices and remodeling projects.
• Ability to read schematics accurately to guide installation processes.
• Experience in field service work is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• A valid plumbing license or certification is required.
