Responsibilities

• Analyzes cross-technology/cross-platform issues
• Evaluates technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions
• Discovers, implements, and manages programs that require systems integration, small teams and/or multiple technical platforms
• Analyzes vendor proposals and coordinates vendors' services
• Acts as a resource and lead to designated staff
• Applies expertise in program/project management methodologies, tools and techniques
• Works independently within the technical area, applying in-depth knowledge of multiple technologies, as appropriate
• Understands architectural issues, and factors them into decisions and recommendations
• Negotiates and commits to deliverables with customers
• Within the context of the program, has complete authority to select tools and methodologies, establish timelines and milestones, make work assignments, and approve work output
• Tracks and maintains an accurate budget
• Obtains approvals on any changes to scope, dates and budget
• Follow appropriate escalation procedures

• Assist customers with defining their current and future program needs
• Evaluates technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions
• Gives recommendations on best practices and lessons learned
• Ability to document program scope
• Ability to gather and document customer needs, dependencies, requirements for telephony, networking, end user devices
• Work collaboratively with applications project manager to incorporate all aspects of the project
• Budget Oversight and Management - skilled in preparing rough order of magnitudes, budgets and expense tracking. Understands capital vs operating rules
• Manages program and project priorities
• Identifies and performs Issue and Risk Management. Skilled in independently assessing the issues/risks and owning the engagement of the appropriate stakeholders. Provide all details to allow the stakeholders to make recommendations/decisions
• Assist in removing barriers and performing escalations
• Promotes good working relationships
• Communicates Program Status; Status updates are clear, concise, and effective communication to meet the unique needs of different audiences
• Creates a mutual understanding, harmony, and action by being an attentive listener and encouraging open expression of diverse ideas and opinions
• Enforces effective Change Control (technical and program)
• Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal. Ability to deliver the message based on the audience
• Team building. Ability to work collaboratively with the entire project team and manage conflict
• Familiarity with ServiceNow

Requirements
Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

• Management of Key Strategic Projects for 8+ years
• Experience with construction project management, working with general contractors, understanding of blueprints, familiarity with networking/data closets
• Managed program budgets in excess of $1 million
• Program status reporting to the top level management
• PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification (desired)
• Mentoring and overseeing of project managers
• Taking best practices, lessons learned and turning them into process improvements
• Ability to gather, analyze, and report project data from ServiceNow and other PM tools
