Leasing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in leasing operations, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective and current residents. Duties

• Manage the leasing process from inquiry to move-in, including conducting property tours and explaining lease terms
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activities using property management software such as Yardi.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other legal requirements
• Prepare, review, and negotiate lease contracts and related legal documents
• Assist prospective tenants with application processes, including data entry and document verification
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for property upkeep and address tenant concerns promptly
• Manage tenant relationships through exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Stay informed about local landlord-tenant laws and updates to housing regulations
• Support administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and data management

Experience

• Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles
• Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi and Microsoft experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, contracts, and legal administrative procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management effectively
• Background in facilities management or property maintenance is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills including data entry and filing
