  •    Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for C# Programming Adjunct Instructors who will be responsible for training and development of program components, course outlines and classroom plans.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver courseware tailored to mainframe modernization needs.
    • Lead engaging, instructor-led training sessions on Thursdays (preferred).
    • Facilitate both onsite and virtual learning environments.
    • Provide follow-up office hours and post-training resources.
    • Ensure absent participants have access to materials to stay current in the series.
     

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in C# development and instruction; familiarity with Python (APIs, backend development).
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, .NET framework, and database integration.
    • Experience in modernizing legacy systems is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for adult learners.
    • Ability to create high-quality, customized instructional materials.
    Minimum Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
     

    Common Essential Job Functions for All Adjunct Instructors:

     
    1. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
    2. Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
    3. Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
    4. Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
    5. Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
    6. Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. – prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
    7. Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Metro Tech.
    8. Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the Economic and Workforce Development Department.
