General - Oklahoma City, OK Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for C# Programming Adjunct Instructors who will be responsible for training and development of program components, course outlines and classroom plans. - Deliver courseware tailored to mainframe modernization needs.
- Lead engaging, instructor-led training sessions on Thursdays (preferred).
- Facilitate both onsite and virtual learning environments.
- Provide follow-up office hours and post-training resources.
- Ensure absent participants have access to materials to stay current in the series.
- Proven experience in C# development and instruction; familiarity with Python (APIs, backend development).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, .NET framework, and database integration.
- Experience in modernizing legacy systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for adult learners.
- Ability to create high-quality, customized instructional materials.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
- Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
- Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
- Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
- Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. – prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Metro Tech.
- Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the Economic and Workforce Development Department.
