Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Client Care Coordinator to provide exceptional support to clients, families, and staff in a fast-paced inpatient behavioral health environment. As the first point of contact, this role ensures a welcoming experience while managing administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, data entry, and front desk coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet incoming clients, families, and visitors in a warm, professional manner
  • Assist with patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and client flow
  • Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, or self-pay status; obtain authorizations as required
  • Update client demographics and maintain medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards
  • Handle incoming phone calls, direct inquiries, and respond to client concerns promptly
  • Support front office operations, including data entry, filing, and document management
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and exam areas; restock supplies as needed
  • Assist with intake processes and support transitions into care
  • Participate in assigned projects and cross-functional team initiatives
  • Foster a positive and client-centered environment that supports healing and dignity

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or pursuit of higher education preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare administration preferred
  • Strong computer and typing skills (40+ WPM); EHR experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact respectfully with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Must pass a TB test, background check, and drug screening prior to employment
  • Pass EHR/ EMR Kipu training within 30 days of orientation

Pay: $ $22.75 per hour
