Job Opening
Blevins, Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for our Jacksonville, FL branch. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for assisting in managing aspects of daily warehouse activities and personnel. To excel in this position, you must be a dedicated, dynamic, hands-on team player who is organized, a natural leader, and capable of making quick and clear decisions.
A tremendous emphasis is placed on follow-through and maintaining a positive, upbeat attitude. Your ability to work effectively under pressure is essential. This position reports directly to the General Manager. Monday to Friday
What you will do…
- Label and process all inbound and outbound freight.
- Utilize UPS, FedEx, and LTL services.
- Pull orders from shelves with accuracy and speed.
- Facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain orderly paperwork.
- Promote and maintain good housekeeping and safety practices.
- Support inventory management and control.
- Meet company accuracy standards.
- Work in a fast-paced, customer service-driven environment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Lift up to 100 pounds.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Forklift Experience.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds.
- Warehouse management background preferred.
- Experience with inventory management/control is a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service skills.
