Restaurant Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant upscale environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bartending and fine dining, with a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain an organized and clean bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu.
• Process customer orders accurately using the Aloha POS system, handling cash and credit transactions efficiently.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal guidelines regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other bar supplies.
• Stay updated on beverage trends, new products, and techniques to enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of fine dining service standards and practices is a plus.
• Strong skills in cash handling and retail math to manage transactions effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for brewing techniques and knowledge of various types of beverages is desirable.
• Must be at least 21 years old as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
