Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of laundry services within our facility, ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing excellent service to our guests and maintaining the overall quality of our establishment.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently, adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens and garments as per established protocols.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks when necessary, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics.
• Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments.
• Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques, fabric care, and dry cleaning processes is advantageous.
• Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus, enhancing understanding of guest service expectations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
