Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting visitors, managing reservations, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. The Host will play a key role in maintaining guest relations and supporting the overall operation of our establishment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Provide accurate wait times and answer guest inquiries politely via phone and in person
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, striving for guest satisfaction
• Assist with guest services including providing information about menu items or hotel amenities if applicable
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette and guest relations standards at all times
• Support other front-of-house duties as needed to enhance the guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous host/host experience or background in food service preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism
• Friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and excellent phone etiquette
