Detailed Electrical Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our growing team. We are a licensed, insured, and bonded electrical contractor known throughout the Grand Strand for our professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail on every project we touch.

This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in clean, code-compliant work and enjoys a mix of commercial, residential, and high-level service projects. You'll work alongside experienced electricians and leadership that values safety, quality, and doing the job right the first time.

Position Overview

As an Electrical Technician with Detailed Electrical, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential environments. Your work will directly impact the safety, performance, and reliability of customer facilities.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems
• Perform electrical service work including diagnostics, upgrades, and system repairs
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot control panels, motors, relays, contactors, breakers, and transformers
• Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections to ensure reliability and safety
• Assist with commercial and industrial projects, including new installs and retrofits
• Work safely around energized equipment while maintaining OSHA and NEC compliance
• Collaborate with other electricians, project managers, and customers to complete jobs efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized job sites that reflect Detailed Electrical's professional standards
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and solutions

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Technician, Electrician, or Industrial/Commercial Electrician
• Strong understanding of NEC code, electrical theory, and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Proficient with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, testers, and hand tools
• Experience with:
• Control panels
• Low-voltage and high-voltage systems
• Commercial service and troubleshooting
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and strong customer service mindset
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Military or technical trade school experience is a plus, but not required

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
