Responsibilities

• Prepare and churn a diverse range of ice cream flavors using established recipes and creative innovations
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards throughout all stages of production and handling including washing and sanitizing equipment
• Make ice cream novelties
• Package finished products carefully for retail display or take-out orders, ensuring presentation is appealing and consistent
• Support food production processes by measuring ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and managing inventory levels
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service during busy periods
• Uphold excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about flavors, and providing recommendations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, baking, or pastry arts; culinary or kitchen experience is highly valued
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards
• Skills in cake decorating, packaging, and general food industry techniques are preferred
• Ability to operate kitchen tools such as knives safely and efficiently; experience with culinary equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly customer service approach
• Prior experience in catering or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
