PM Dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Duties

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Support food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or assembling ingredients under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
• Help with food handling and basic catering setup when required for events or banquet services.
• Follow proper procedures for handling food items to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
• Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas to uphold sanitation standards.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
• Flexibility to assist with various tasks such as bussing or basic food prep as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary.
