Hill International is seeking a Manager, Cyber-Physical Security in White House, Tennessee
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Build trusted relationships with mid- to senior-level client stakeholders across infrastructure, utilities, energy, transportation, and institutional sectors.
- Lead cyber-physical discovery activities including stakeholder interviews, site assessments, threat modeling workshops, and operational reviews.
- Translate client concerns around safety, security, resilience, and compliance into clearly scoped problem statements and engagement plans.
- Support senior leadership in identifying cross-sector risk patterns, emerging threats, and scalable cyber-physical security opportunities.
Solution Design & Innovation Delivery
- Lead development of cyber-physical security strategies, architectures, and transformation roadmaps.
- Apply systems thinking to map interdependencies between physical assets, digital systems, people, processes, and governance.
- Evaluate risks across IT, OT, IoT, physical security systems, and operational workflows.
- Design fit-for-purpose solutions spanning detection, prevention, response, and recovery —balancing security, usability, and operational impact.
- Support development of pilot programs, proofs of concept, and phased implementations.
Program Management & Execution
- Oversee day-to-day delivery of cyber-physical security engagements across multiple clients or workstreams.
- Develop detailed project plans, manage dependencies, track milestones, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including cybersecurity, engineering, facilities, operations, analytics, and technology partners.
- Identify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies; escalate complex challenges appropriately.
- Ensure high-quality, consistent, and client-ready deliverables.
Practice & Capability Development
- Partner with the Director of Client Innovation to help define and refine the Cyber-Physical Security practice vision, offerings, and delivery model.
- Contribute to development of methodologies, frameworks, assessment tools, and playbooks that enable repeatable, scalable delivery.
- Support go-to-market efforts including proposal input, client workshops, and thought leadership.
- Stay current on evolving cyber-physical threats, regulations, standards, and technologies to inform practice direction.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide coaching, structure, and direction to Senior Consultants and Consultants supporting cyber-physical security engagements.
- Foster collaboration across GISI operating companies and technical disciplines.
- Promote a culture of practical security, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Analysis, Insights & Reporting
- Provide coaching, structure, and direction to Senior Consultants and Consultants supporting cyber-physical security engagements.

Qualifications
- 6 –9 years of experience in cybersecurity, cyber-physical security, critical infrastructure protection, OT/ICS security, or related consulting and delivery roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience leading client engagements and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong grounding in systems thinking, risk-based analysis, and structured problem solving.
- Experience working in or with asset-intensive, safety-critical, or regulated environments.
- C yber-Physical Security & Risk Assessment (IT/OT/Physical) .
- OT / ICS Security Concepts and Architectures .
- Threat Modeling & Security Architecture Design .
- Systems Mapping and Dependency Analysis .
- Familiarity with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, or similar) .
- Program and stakeholder management in complex environments .
- Operates confidently between strategic framing and hands-on delivery.
- Communicates complex technical and security concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Builds trust through thoughtful facilitation, practical recommendations, and reliable execution.
- Comfortable helping build something new—shaping offerings, refining approaches, and learning alongside clients.
- Balances security rigor with operational realities and business outcomes.
